Consolidated Safety Services, Inc. is a science-based firm, built on a comprehensive understanding of basic and applied biomedical science research and programs. Many staff have conducted research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and are intimately familiar with the structure, processes, program administration, and culture of HHS and its Agencies, as well as the needs of its clientele.
CSS was incorporated in 1988, to identify and resolve safety, health, and environmental issues for private and government sector clients, functioning under a single Division for Environmental Safety and Health. The following year, CSS expanded into a second Division for Transportation Safety and Security and was awarded its first multi-million contract with the Department of Defense. Within a few short years, CSS science-based staff expanded to form the third Division, Scientific Programs to support a variety of technical and administrative services, and to assist in the development, management, and administration of science-based programs. Integrated into all of programs are cross-cutting services that include Information Technology, training, and event management. CSS comprehensive event support services result in:
